Hi Emma,
I found your post on interaction and presence to be very insightful! Having instructors and teachers who are intentional and proactive about communicating with their students can make the class a far better experience. I previously had a class where my instructor took about a week to get back to each of my emails. I found this caused a lot of frustration and stress for me. I was constantly worried I wouldn’t do well on an assignment or test as I wasn’t receiving any feedback or having my questions addressed. But, I have also experienced the other end of this spectrum in classes with instructors who are fast and timely at getting back to me. When I feel confident in my learning It makes all the difference for me.
